James L. McCarley, Jr., PharmD

Dell McCarley is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cantrell Drug Company, a 503B Outsourcing Facility headquartered in Little Rock, AR. Dell is a 1988 graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy and is a licensed doctor of pharmacy in multiple states including Arkansas, Arizona, Kentucky, Mississippi & Virginia. He completed an internship with Hoffman-La Roche Pharmaceuticals in Nutley, New Jersey. He is a founding board member and president of the Specialty Sterile Pharmaceutical Society, an organization representing the 503B Outsourcing industry. Dell currently serves on the Federation of American Hospitals Pharmacy Advisory Board. He is the 1994 recipient of the Marion Merrell Dow/Arkansas Pharmacists Association Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award and the 2008 recipient of the Arkansas Pharmacists Association Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award. He has practice experience in hospital, community, and home infusion markets with over 10 years’ experience in sterile product compounding. He is a member of the Parenteral Drug Association, International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering, International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists, and Professional Compounding Centers of America.
