Herny Prasetya has a pharmacy education background from Widya Mandala University in Indonesia and Industrial Pharmacy from Sydney University in Australia.
She joined Schering Plough Indonesia in 1976 and worked in Quality Control. Ms. Prasetya then moved to Alpharma Indonesia, a Danish–Norwegian Company, where in 1980 she oversaw Production before becoming Quality Assurance Manager of the company, setting up their quality system. From 1999 to 2006 she was the Head of Company Plant Operation before starting up a consultancy to the pharmaceutical industry in 2006.
Ms. Prasetya is active in pharmaceutical industry organizations; for 12 years she chaired the QA-QC Manager Group in Indonesia and from 2003 – 2011 she led the GMP Committee in the Indonesian Pharmaceutical Industry Association before leading ISPE Indonesia Affiliate since 2009.
She is also one of the Experts Team with the Indonesia National Agency for Drug and Food Control.
