Helen YeJin Saccone, PharmD

Commander Helen Saccone, is the Associate Director for Global Regulatory Policy in the Office of Global Regulatory Operations and Policy at the US FDA. CDR Saccone was part of the inaugural team that initiated the EU-US Mutual Reliance Initiative in 2014. She joined FDA in 2008, serving as a Project Management Officer then Special Assistant to the Director within the Center for Drug Evaluation’s Office of Compliance. Prior to joining FDA, she worked as a pharmacy inspector for the DC Department of Health and a Senior Manager of Education at the American Pharmacists Association. CDR Saccone received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Rutgers University and was commissioned into the US Public Health Service in 2009.
