Hande Ozgen, PhD

Hande Özgen is Scientist at Cytiva (formerly GE Healthcare Life Sciences). After completing her Ph.D. in Cell Biology at University Medical Center Groningen, Netherlands, she started working in biotech industry as an Upstream Scientist. In her previous roles in various countries, she focused mainly on early and late stage process development, optimization and scale-up for mAbs, biosimilars and vaccines. She is currently working with multiple scale upstream processing systems and scaling up processes in both fed batch and perfusion mode to support continuous processing and to develop novel bioprocessing methods.
