George T. Bass

Former Alcon, a Novartis Company Head of eCompliance and Data Integrity. In this role he was responsible for assuring that all computerized systems were compliant with Novartis internal validation and Data Integrity requirements, George was a lead member of the Novartis Data Integrity and eCompliance councils. These cross Divisional Corporate councils assured that Novartis internal standards met all international requirements for validation and Data Integrity, including FDA, MHRA, and EMEA as well as developed training programs to assure that all Novartis associates were consistently trained. George has spoken on ERES, Data Integrity and validation at both ISPE and PDA events. He lead the development of the roles and responsibilities section of ISPE’s GPG. <br><br>
Over 20 years experience in Computer System Validation and systems implementation in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries. He has a BS in Information Systems from Philadelphia University and an MBA with a concentration in Quality Management for LaSalle University as well as a current ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor.
