Erica is a chemist by training and has 24 years of experience of working in Research and Development within the Pharmaceutical Industry. After an initial focus and successful roles in regulatory affairs for both Sandoz (pre Novartis) and Abbott Laboratories, she joined AstraZeneca to lead the Clinical Supply Chain group responsible for the design, packaging, labelling and distribution of trial supplies globally.
More recently, Erica has been responsible for externally sourcing services across a broad scope for pharmaceutical development activities including formulation development and manufacturing. Since 2014 her focus has turned to sourcing comparator products across the entire AZ development portfolio. As such, she acts as the AZ core representative on the Transcelerate comparator work stream.
