Doyle R. Johnson is an Independent Consultant and also Engineering SME for Windshire Group in Boston, MA. He has been affiliated with IPS, Stantec and was the Northeast Operations Leader for Hargrove Engineers + Constructors and the founder of its Life Sciences LLC. Previously he was the Sr. Director of Facilities and Operations for Genzyme’s Biologics Division, responsible for all Engineering, Facilities, and Safety and Environmental activities at the Framingham site. He has over 30 years of experience designing, building and operating BioPharma and Chemical Process Plants both in the US and in Europe.

Mr. Johnson has been a member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers for 20 years, and served as President of the Boston Chapter in 2008-2009, during which time the Chapter was recognized as Outstanding Chapter of the Year. In 2009 and again in 2011 Mr. Johnson was elected to the ISPE International Board of Directors and has served in a leadership role on the Strategic Planning, Membership, and Governance Committees as well as the Steering Committees for Biotechnology and Critical Utilities. The Boston Chapter awarded him the Hank Moes Award for outstanding contributions to the Chapter and the Industry.

Doyle Johnson holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, an MS degree in Organic Chemistry from Northeastern University, and an MBA with a concentration in finance and entrepreneurship from Babson College.
