David J. Holt

David has an undergraduate degree and PhD in Chemistry from Leicester University, UK. David joined at AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical Development in 2000, and he is currently a Principal Scientist within Product Development at AstraZeneca in Macclesfield. David has been working in the area of Pharmaceutical Development Quality By Design for the past 10 years, and has been involved in a number of marketing applications applying QbD, undertaking numerous regulatory consultations with US, Europe, Canada, Brazil and Japan on behalf of AstraZeneca. David is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with the British Quality Foundation, and has more recently been involved in the roll-out activities for Continued Process Verification at AstraZeneca.
