Daryl Kern

Daryl is a Principal Architect and Director of Architecture for PM Group, located in Philadelphia, PA. Daryl is an SME in the planning and design of GMP facilities that integrate process equipment and infrastructure, and works closely with clients to pinpoint process improvements and find innovative solutions for complex facilities. Daryl’s buildings have won multiple awards, primarily for design excellence, innovation and User Centered Design. His expertise includes site selection, space planning and design of Biologic, ATMP, OSD and single-use facilities. Daryl has reviewed and co-authored industry best practice guides and delivered multiple presentations, particularly on the design of multi-modality and biologic manufacturing facilities. He often shares his experience with others at trade shows and industry events. Daryl is a Registered Architect in ten jurisdictions and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University.
