Darragh McDonagh

Mr McDonagh, a graduate of University of Wales Swansea, holds Master level degrees in Chemical Engineering, Science and an MBA in Business. He has over 20 years experience working in various engineering, operations and managerial roles in the small molecule, peptide and biopharmaceutical sectors. Mr McDonagh’s current role is as Senior Director of Engineering at Lilly Ltd. In this role, Mc McDonagh has supported a number of major capital plan investment projects and startups on the Lilly Kinsale site, including the ISPE FOYA winning IE2b peptide manufacturing facility and of recent a new greenfield next generation biotechnology site in Limerick, Ireland. Innovative new technology, integration of advanced digital and control systems and sustainability solutions have been central to the design and delivery of these new Lilly major capital investments.
