Dan Kelleher is a process engineer at Merck & Co., Inc. in Elkton Virginia. Dan started his career in the pharmaceutical industry as an operator in a contrast media facility in the vial packaging and filling departments. After working as an operator he returned to school to pursue a degree in engineering with concentrations in Bioprocess and Mechanical engineering at East Carolina University. Following graduation Dan joined an internal tech transfer capital project. While on the project Dan has been responsible for qualification and startup of sterile supply equipment. Other startup activities have included process train startup. Dan is currently the facility SME for the process simulations and isolator aseptic techniques.
