Clarence Friedman

Clarence Friedman is an experienced leader in life sciences space, currently serving as the Head of Empower Software at Waters Corporation. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Clarence is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that integrate digital solutions into QC workflows. He has played a key role in advancing Waters’ AI-driven tools for protein chromatography and bioprocess optimization. Prior to his role now, Clarence led the Bioseparations consumables business at Waters and was the digital transformation VP at CIMCON. Clarence was also the founder and CEO of Adeo Health in Boston, which was acquired in 2019, and has held roles at McKinsey and Pfizer. Clarence holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Brandeis University and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
