Christian Mrotzek

Christian Mrotzek is currently Sr. Director Engineering and Technology Center at Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC. In his role he serves as the Technical point for engineering and technical resources for multiple Fresenius sterile plants in North America. One of his actual assignments is the lead for the process and sterile manufacturing considerations for the Melrose Park expansion project ($350). Within Fresenius Kabi, Christian has held various positions in process development and implementation for their fully integrated and highly automated standard solution and nutrition bag making manufacturing lines (one chamber ffx bags till three chamber parenteral nutrition bags). Christian has recently relocated from Germany to Chicago area for the cGMP modernization and upgrading program. He graduated at the Rheinisch Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) in Aachen in 1999, where he specialized in biological and process engineering. In 2017, Christian joined the ISPE committee of practice (COP) for sterile products and processes.
