Chris M. Folta

Chris Folta has more than 30 years of experience designing and developing over-the-counter and pharmaceutical packaging. He holds a patent for the first all-plastic seal and has a second pending for cryogenic packaging. His early work included development of a unique compliance counting cap and design and commercialization of the first low-temperature parenteral seal. He has designed over 20 blister packs and lead cross-functional teams responsible for the movement and startup of blister lines. For the last five years he has been researching and developing cryogenic packaging. Chris graduated from RIT with a BS in Packaging Science and Pennsylvania State University with a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering. His thesis was on maximizing the efficiency of experimental designs.
