Charles A. Heffernan

Charles is a process engineer, specializing in bioprocess and facility design. Working in the life science industry for over 20 years he has gained significant owner side experience across the product lifecycle from R&D through product licensure which he uses to help his clients develop cutting edge facility designs. He has deep subject matter expertise in multi-modal facilities and has designed facilities for vaccines, mAbs, blood fractionation products, plasmids, viral vectors, cell therapies, gene therapies, and RNA based therapies. He is currently a lead SME at PM Group focused on design of advanced biologics, ATMP / CGT, and continuous bioprocessing facilities.
