Pharma Sector Operations Manager
Catherine is a Mechanical Engineer, and also holds a degree (BBS) and masters (MBS) in business studies from the Cork Institute of Technology, and a MSc in Executive Leadership from Ulster University, and in September 2019 embarked on a journey of PhD research in Business Strategy at Ulster University (part-time)
Having started her career as a project engineer/project manager, in Catherine’s current role she is responsible for the day to day operations of the Pharma Sector in PM Group. This includes delivering internal projects for the organisation, including the Pharma SME Development Programme (IITD Pearse Walsh Award Winner 2019 for Innovation in the Transfer of Learning to Employees, and 2019 iChemE Global Awards finalist for Training and Development), as well as supporting innovative industry collaborations, including the Standard Disposables Design SDD-TM initiative.
Catherine is also involved in strategic planning and budgeting for the pharma sector, and in leading Market and Client Research across the pharmaceutical and biopharma sector, as well as keeping an eye out for changes and developments in our industry.
