Caroline Rocks is a Senior Process Engineer for Mylan’s Strategic Manufacturing Biologics.
Caroline started her career with Jacobs in process and facility designs from concept to construction. Caroline subsequently worked for Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb and Meda manufacturing facilities in Ireland in the areas of technology transfer, commissioning, qualification and validation of small and large molecule API, OSD and fill finish projects. Caroline now works on developing and delivering capital projects and manufacturing strategies in Mylan’s global biosimilars portfolio.
Caroline is a Chartered Engineer and earned first class honours in both her Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and her Master’s degree in biopharmaceutical engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland.
Caroline lectures at University College Dublin School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering and the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT).
Caroline co-founded the Ireland Affiliate Young Professionals’ Committee and was its first Chair. She now serves as a committee member of the Ireland Affiliate, the Europe YP leadership committee and 2017 ISPE Awards Committee. As Chairperson of the International Young Professionals Committee, she also sits on the International Board of Directors as an ex-officio member.
