Carlos J. Monserrate, PE

Carlos Monserrate is a Senior Process Engineer at Eli Lilly’s Dry Product Manufacturing Site in Puerto Rico. As part of the New Products Introduction Team, he is responsible for ensuring that oral solid dose manufacturing process, equipment and facility is optimally designed, maintained, and continuously improved to deliver quality product under the safest of operations. With over seventeen years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Carlos is a subject matter expert for Lilly’s solid dose manufacturing technologies ranging from Granulation to Packaging. Carlos holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a B.S in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing and Design) from Georgia Institute of Technology.
