With more than 25+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and M&A integration, Carla brings unique insight and expertise to her role as Vice President of Site Services at Genentech. Carla currently leads Genentech’s corporate real estate portfolio, physical infrastructure, and work place services for the South San Francisco campus. The campus spans over 180 acres and over 5 million square feet of space, supporting 15,000+ employees. Carla holds a Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley.<br><br>
She is a respected mentor at Genentech, in the industry and community. Carla is also a sought after inspirational speaker. She serves on the Board of Directors for Northern California Junior Achievement, Bay Area Council, the Genentech Foundation, and is a member of the International Women’s Forum.<br><br>
In 2016, Carla was recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the most influential women in business in the Bay Area, and in 2017 was named to their “Forever Influential” Honor Roll. In 2017, Carla was also selected as a Hall of Fame honoree for the Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence Awards.<br><br>
Outside of work, she can be found working in her kitchen and garden, and volunteering at her daughter’s school.
