Arnel N. Cabungcal, ChE

Arnel Cabungcal is a professional Chemical Engineer from Mapua Institute of Technology, with specializations on Thermal Process Control Engineering from the North Carolina State University and University of Hawaii in Manoa; Supply Chain Management from Georgia Tech and had completed Executive Management Programs from Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Asian Institute of Management and the University of the Philippines. He is a Certified Lean 6-Sigma Black Belt and 6-Sigma Master Black Belt and an active member of the Philippine Society for Quality and the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Currently he is the President of ISPE Philippines Affiliate and Fellow of Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers. He was formerly the Quality, Safety and Environment Director of The Coca-Cola Company covering 12 countries and over 60 manufacturing sites in Southeast Asia and currently AVP-Manufacturing at Unilab. He has a solid 30 years of experience and technical expertise in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Validation and Liquid Food Manufacturing and has international experience in validation, training, plant management, auditing and audit management, implementation of management systems, supply chain assessment, risk assessment, pharmaceutical and beverage process technologies; quality, safety and environment governance and standards setting. He was awarded Outstanding Cardinal for Environment in 2017, Outstanding Mapuan in 2018 and 2019 in field of Chemical Engineering, 2020 and 2022 Outstanding Professional by the Philippine Professional Regulatory Commission.
