Alfred Yu is the Head of Engineering and Facilities Maintenance at Simtra Biopharma Solutions. Leading the holistic technical functions including maintenance reliability, metrology, clean utilities, facility services, sterile process engineering, validation, automation and Capex teams.
Simtra Biopharma Solutions (formerly Baxter BioPharma Solutions) is one of the largest sterile injectable CDMOs in North America, we are dedicated to developing and manufacturing quality sterile injectable products to meet evolving patient needs.
Before Simtra, Alfred had been serving in progressive senior leadership roles of Engineering and Facility in sites including Elanco, National Resilience, Sanofi Pasteur and Patheon (Thermo Fisher). Alfred has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical, Biopharma and consumer product industries with global exposures in USA Canada, Mexico and Asia Pacific regions. Alfred is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified maintenance and reliability professional (CMRP). He is also one of the authors of two ISPE GPG Books.
