Katell Mignot is Field Marketing Manager for Single Use Fluid Management Technologies at Sartorius Stedim Biotech, based in Aubagne, France. She completed a master degree in Biochemistry, an Engineer graduation in Chemistry and gained 17 years of experience at suppliers for Biopharmaceutical Industry.
Since 2009, she is leading a team of Application Specialists who support design, validation, training and implementation of Single Use technologies. Katell Mignot dedicates her time to marketing and business development for disposable technologies that can be integrated into an executable single use solutions and manufacturing strategy.
She is an active member of PDA, ISPE (co-chair from ISPE Disposable COP), BPSA, and A3P GIC SU.
The exponential increase in demand to manufacture therapeutics including vaccines triggered by the pandemic has stressed the supply chain for single-use products.
The environmental impact of “single-use plastics” has become a hot topic of societal and political debate.
