Vivien Santillan is the Regional Director for Asia and a Program Consultant of Novatek International, a life-science IT firm based in Canada that provides regulatory compliant software solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotech and other health-care industries. Vivien served as President of the Philippines Affiliate (2017-2020) and Chair of the Asia Pacific Council (2019-2020) of ISPE. She is currently a Director on the ISPE International Board of Directors, Chair of ISPE Women in Pharma® International Steering Committee and Co-Chair of ISPE GAMP South-Asia and a member of several ISPE Community of Practice (COP) Steering Committees, such as the Drug Shortages Initiative Team and QC/Analytical.. Vivien has spoken and conducted trainings on topics on computer system validation, data integrity, contamination control strategy, digitalization and other regulatory topics for the industry and regulators. Vivien is an accomplished Technical Sales Director, Business Development and Marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. She has been assisting pharmaceutical companies for the past 17 years in achieving regulatory compliance by providing technical assistance, gap analysis, computer system validation, documentation and training in the implementation and use of LIMS, digital QMS and contamination control solution. She graduated with a degree in Computer Applications from De La Salle University and a Total Quality Management (TQM) certified. As an active ISPE member and officer, Vivien envisions ISPE to be expanding its reach, becoming an instrumental society in providing equitable access to relevant training and education; and further establishing its stature as a valuable partner of affiliates and chapters in overcoming challenges and achieving their objectives for the pharmaceutical industry.
