Dr. Tammy Spain, is an Associate Director of Project Management with Network Partners Group (formerly The FlexPro Group). A molecular biologist with over 23 years of experience leading teams in the development of biological defense technologies and pharmaceuticals, her experience has been primarily in the private sector with companies that include Draper Laboratory, and Catalent Pharma Solutions. Since 2014, Dr. Spain has also served on the National Biodefense Science Board (NBSB), a federal advisory committee to the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response in the US Department of Health and Human Services. In this capacity, the NBSB provides recommendations on matters of national public health and medical emergencies, such as the recent COVID pandemic. As a developer of analytical devices, Dr. Spain focused on cross-over applications in the military, space and medicine. Since 2016, Dr. Spain has managed projects to translate promising drug candidates to marketable dosage forms. Some of these projects ultimately led to successful launches of drug products such as Vyndaqel, Phenylephrine Ophthalmologic Solutions, and a variety of Advil Liqui-Gel formulations. Dr. Spain has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and she currently lives in Leesburg, FL.
