Matt Edwards

Matt Edwards is the Senior Vice President and Site Head for Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing. Matt has been with Lilly for 24 years spanning roles in engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercialization across both dry products and parenteral manufacturing networks. His current role is responsible for leading the parenteral manufacturing operations in Indianapolis consisting of over 1200 employees who produce sterile products in syringes, vials, and cartridges. He has also led sites in Puerto Rico and China, which included start-up of a new parenteral facility. Upon his return to the US, Matt gained experience in the commercial business taking on a national sales leader role. Immediately prior to his current role Matt served as the global manufacturing leader for Lilly’s Covid-19 antibody program. Matt holds both a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
