Sarah Pegington-Chow

Graduated with a B.Sc in Chemical Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Sunderland. Employed by Merck, Sharp & Dohme and my role developed whilst i was in their employment from a laboratory analyst, to a Quality Operations team leader, Senior analyst, Cleaning validation Specialist and then as a Compliance Coordinator. I then moved to the NHSBT (National Health Service - Blood & Transplant) as an Assistant Quality Assurance Manager based in Newcastle. I completed a M.SC in Quality Assurance from Sheffield Hallam University and have subsequently transitioned to national roles as the Quality Project Specialist for the Cellular & Molecular Therapies group during the construction of their purpose built Barnsley site and am now the Quality Project Specialist for national Logistics. Whilst at the NHSBT, i have specialised in Cold chain, temperature mapping and Good Documentation Practice.
