Raj K. Puri, MD, PhD, is a Director of Division of Cellular and Gene Therapies at Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, FDA. He oversees the evaluation, regulation and approval of cell and gene therapy, tissue engineered, xenotransplantationand tissue derived medical products. Dr. Puri also performs FDA's mission-relevant regulatory science related research to advance medical product development; in particular finding new cures for cancer and inflammatory diseases.
