Stephen Judd

Stephen Judd is a Chartered Chemical Engineer, Fellow of Engineers Ireland and is Secretary of the IChemE Biochemical Engineering Special Interest Group (BESIG). He is an experienced technical manager and principal process engineer with more than 15 years experience in process engineering and facility design, mainly in biotech projects, and is experienced in all project stages from feasibility study to commissioning and qualification. Stephen has worked with a wide range of clients to develop suitable designs for clinical trial phase operations through to commercial-scale facilities. He has extensive experience with facility design, process systems design and scale-up, and process technology selection for hard-piped and single-use systems. His focus area is Cell & Gene Therapy and his current role is the Process SME - Biologics / Cell & Gene Therapy for DPS Group’s European Operations. He has been an ISPE member since 2016.
