The Networking Committee strives to provide opportunities for members to socialize, connect, and engage with each other. This committee is responsible for organizing, planning, and holding the following ISPE-CaSA events, either as a stand-alone committee or in conjunction with other committees:
Therapeutic Thursdays - monthly evenings (generally the third or fourth Thursday of the month) held at local restaurants, pubs, breweries, and/or wineries in the region, rotating locations and sponsors. Occasionally, an event may be held in conjunction with another chapter activity, such as one held by the Young Professionals or Education Committees.
Fall Networking Event - an annual celebration of the previous year and the upcoming year, introduction of all ISPE-CaSA committees, and other achievements of the Chapter, and usually held in October with sponsorship support.
Winter Networking Event – a fun night of entertainment and networking in a formal dress environment. An accomplished Keynote Speaker will address the group.
Golf Tournament - usually held on a Monday in May at the Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC, the golf tournament is a fun, friendly, social and athletic competition among members and is supported by sponsorships and golf fees and includes a charity donation aspect.
Charity Events - events held in conjunction with other events (e.g., Technology Conference, Golf Tournament, Education Events) wherein the Chapter accepts donations of money and prizes. This may be held alone or in conjunction with another event, at a breakfast or evening reception, with rotating locations.
