Venkatesh Srinivasan holds a PhD in Chemistry and has 10+ years of research experience. His primary research focus is on development of novel materials for advanced sensing applications based on surface plasmon coupled emission, fluorescence spectroscopy, and thin films. Dr. Srinivasan has contributed extensively to the field of biosensing through his work on lab-on-a-chip platforms integrated with state-of-the-art techniques in plasmonics and microfluidics. This includes pioneering bioinspired diagnostics and the detection of biomarkers, leading to prototypes and clinical validations of biomedical diagnostic devices with drive to move the innovations through technology readiness levels towards commercialization. His 30+ research papers are published in reputed peer-reviewed journals. Currently his research efforts are focused on O2/CO2 sensing, biomedical health and cancer diagnostics.
