Norman Goldschmidt

Mr. Goldschmidt has over 35 years of experience spanning the many types of facilities and processes necessary to bring Life Science products to market. He is the President of Genesis AEC, a national full service EPCMV firm.

Norman is internationally recognized as an expert and author on Design and Operation of Controlled Environments for Life Sciences with extensive experience in Cell & Gene Therapies, Sterile filling, Vaccine and Biotech API processing, Pharmacies, Powder Handling and CGMP Compliance. He has authored the Environmental Control / HVAC and related sections of 7 ISPE Guides in addition to numerous articles and papers on these topics.
Norman is a frequent speaker and instructor providing training to the Life Science Industry around the world, including both industry professionals and regulatory agencies on 5 continents and at the graduate level for NJIT.
Mr. Goldschmidt holds 4 patents for innovations in HVAC and Pharmaceutical Processing, is an International Standards Organization (ISO) cleanroom expert/author, and represents the USA and ISPE at ISO .

Norman studied Mechanical Engineering at the University at Buffalo and Engineering Management at Empire State College. He was employed by Bristol-Myers Squibb for 20 years, culminating as the Executive Director of Global Engineering.
