Chris Polster received his B.S. (2004) and Ph.D. (2009) in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University-West Lafayette. He joined Eli Lilly and Company in 2009 as a postdoctoral researcher, where he focused on developing an Artificial Stomach/Duodenum dynamic dissolution apparatus. He then joined the small molecule development organization in 2011 where he began focusing on crystallization process development. Since then, he has been involved in continuous process development (primarily crystallization) and technical transfer of those processes to pilot and manufacturing facilities.
