Brad G. Sepp

Brad is GM and Program Manager of the Walter Reed Pilot Bioproduction Facility in Silver Spring Maryland where he collaborates with Army CEC and USAMRAA leadership to advance life saving medical countermeasures while driving public-private partnerships for development of early clinical programs. PBF is a subset of the ARMY Center for Enabling Capabilities (CEC) specializing in pre-clinical development and manufacturing development of vaccine and therapeutic countermeasures with state-of-the-art technology, resources and experience. PBF also partners with many private sector industry partners that are advancing life-saving therapeutics and vaccines globally. Brad serves as an executive leader at CAMRIS International assisting teams worldwide specializing health and research. Over a near a decade at Emergent BioSolutions; Brad was integral to two expansions of Emergent’s CDMO facility in Baltimore, Maryland. As Director of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology his leadership helped establish the Single-Use cGMP Multi-Product Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility that was awarded the 2012 CIADM HHS contract which delivered vaccine to the 2014-2015 Ebola outbreak and leads the HHS CIADMs in task order execution. Prior to Emergent, Mr. Sepp held similar process engineering positions and leadership roles at Lonza including brownfield construction of an R&D facility, process transfer and bioreactor automation projects. Throughout his 20-year; Mr. Sepp has a successful track record in operations management, process innovation, facility design, facility startup, process automation, process engineering and program management. He has been an ISPE member since 2004, has a Bioengineering degree from Illinois and a Masters in Microbial Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
