The UK affiliate was initiated in 1988/89 and held its first annual general meeting on 24 October 1990. The UK Affiliate acted as the springboard to launch ISPE throughout Europe. UK membership has since grown to around 900 members with active regional representation in four areas of the United Kingdom organising evening seminars, conferences, and networking events
