Over 45 years, ISPE has evolved from an idea into a global community focused on knowledge advancement, raising the benchmark for industry standards, and inspiring excellence. ISPE guides industry practices, supports innovation, and fosters professional development in life sciences, through ISPE Guidance Documents, conferences, training, regulatory insights, and much more.
Today, ISPE is actively advancing the industry, transforming possibility into progress, thanks to its dedicated members and volunteers. It is because of ISPE’s incredible community that ISPE has been able to build frameworks that guide the industry, carve pathways for innovation, and inspire confidence in the future of pharmaceutical science.

ISPE would not be where it is today without its members. Every individual member’s expertise, passion, and commitment that has been shared over the decades contributes to the ISPE’s collective knowledge, and the knowledge ISPE is able to provide to the industry. Still, ISPE’s progress is not just defined by science; ISPE has grown into the community it is because of its care—for patients, for one another, and for the world.

ISPE officially announced it had surpassed 25,000 ISPE members and 100,000 LinkedIn followers at this year’s 2025 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo. These are monumental achievements, which would not be possible without each and every ISPE member. ISPE is humbled and elated by this milestone and sincerely grateful for this collective achievement.
A Time for Reflection and Sharing
In the spirit of togetherness, ISPE has launched a collaborative initiative to invite members to contribute their ISPE stories. There are countless friendships, mentorships, and professional connections that have been forged through ISPE; countless jobs, promotions, and professional advancements that have come about; along with many more stories that continue to unfold.
As ISPE reflects upon its past 45 years, and on these recent milestones, we are carving out a dedicated opportunity to share these special moments. Because they matter. As humans, we gravitate toward storytelling. They unite us, compel us to be better, and together, make us stronger. And the more we come together—the more we can celebrate our achievements, reflect on our successes, and stand tall with one another during more challenging times—the stronger we will be and the more we will be able to contribute to our patients, our community, and the world.
