Abstract:
Digital transformation of medical devices terminal sterilization by means of ethylene oxide. The purpose of this webinar is to provide a new perspective of the digital transformation of a manufacturing process, using as an example the terminal sterilization process of medical devices such as syringes used for Covid-19 vaccination. The example is used to reflect upon the foundations that industry 4.0 is doing towards the concept of Society 5.0. The webinar will cover concepts as OEE, Predictive Maintenance, Parametric Release, among others.

Jordi has been working at Telstar for more than 8 years in sales and technical positions related to the pharmaceutical market. He holds a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Postgraduate diploma in Digital Transformation and Smart Manufacturing from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
