Presentation Topic 1

Intensify your process with Multi-Column and Membrane/Resin Chromatography : process development, digital tools and implementation at commercial scale.

Abstract :

Multi-Column or Multi Membranes/Resin in Sartorius’s portfolio will be presented with case studies at PD scale and commercial scale. Digital tools used for process optimization and process monitoring/control will also be introduced during this session.

Key objective :

Inform about the development stage of process intensification at small and large scale, and discuss methodologies to convert a batch process to an intensified process through multi-columns/membranes approach.

Presentation Topic 2

Transforming art into science – Automated Column Packing

Abstract:

Full automation is the only way forward for large-scale packed bed chromatography, but not all automated systems deliver the same levels of performance. Resolute® Linear columns with the AutoPak system deliver fully automated packing, repacking, unpacking and clean-in-place (CIP) operations, which greatly reduces operator error and allows for robust, predictable processing.

Key Objective:

  • Understand why automated column packing is superior to manual packing.
  • Understand the benefits of automation and why automation should be considered independently for packing, unpacking, repacking and CIP.
  • Learn from our chromatography expert and understand how truly optimized automation solutions combine expertise with technology.
