2019 UK ISPE Awards

11 January, 2020

ISPE is a volunteer led organisation, so everything that we do for our members is reliant on the time and resources offered by our volunteers and supporters.

These annual awards are a chance for the ISPE’s UK Affiliate to thank and recognise individuals, companies and organisations, nominated by the regional committees, for their support of the ISPE as a whole, and in particular in the UK.

Brian Sixsmith Fellow Award

The final award is in memory of our friend Brian Sixsmith, who was instrumental in making the UK Affiliate what it is today.

Peter Dodd has played a significant role in supporting the affiliate over the past decade. Initially Peter hosted a site visit, but then joined one of the regional committees to strengthen the connections with bio-manufacturing. Peter started arranging events and went on to chair the regional committee. At that point, Peter joined the UK affiliate board and supported its work before being elected chair. In this role, Peter represented the UK affiliate in Europe, as well as taking forward the UK affiliate strategy. Even after retirement, Peter has continued to support the affiliate as Northeast Regional Chair.
