Speaker Marie O’Brien PhD, Principal Engineering Consultant at Applied Materials
Marie O’Brien is an Advanced Process Control (APC) engineer at Applied Materials, formerly part of the Perceptive Engineering team, with two decades of experience in the industrial deployment of model predictive control solutions. She holds a PhD in Model Predictive Control from the University of Strathclyde. Over the past decade, Marie has specialised in validation of APC within the Pharmaceutical sector and adjacent regulated industries, including Infant Nutritional Formula production. She manages the ISO9001 Quality Management System, and leads the APC customer support team, for Applied Materials APG Pharma.
