Women in Pharma®: Igniting Global Connection, Innovation, and Impact
Women in Pharma continues to be a driving force behind ISPE’s mission to advance pharmaceutical science and professionals worldwide.
A Year of Momentum and Meaning
The 2025 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo in Charlotte, NC, US, set a new benchmark for engagement. The Sunday workshop, “From Imposter to Impact: Reinventing Your Career with Confidence,” brought 60 people together for a deep dive into confidence, career reinvention, and authenticity. The WIP Monday evening networking event, “A Walk in Their Shoes: Legends, Leadership, and the Ones Who Paved the Way,” transformed the Middle C Jazz Club into a celebration of mentorship and legacy—linking generations of professionals. The event was fully booked just a few days after registration opened, and welcomed 150 guests.
Women in Pharma has also led a series of webinars in 2025, including “Women Leading the Future: Transforming Organizations Across Asia,” and launched a global book club featuring Working Identity by Herminia Ibarra and Finding Your Own North Star by Martha Beck. Each event reflected our commitment to inspire connection through dialogue, learning, and growth.
The MentorISPE program—now serving more than 800 participants worldwide—continues to redefine mentorship in the life sciences industry, bridging time zones and backgrounds to help members learn, lead, and give back. As 2026 begins, MentorISPE is expanding its structure, adding new moderator and training frameworks to strengthen mentor–mentee success and inclusivity.
Introducing the 2025–2026 Women in Pharma International Steering Committee
As we turn the page to 2026, Women in Pharma welcomes a new Steering Committee committed to advancing global alignment and innovation across all regions.
Together, this diverse team reflects the strength of Women in Pharma’s international reach—uniting perspectives from Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and beyond.
2026: The Year to Ignite
Under the 2026 theme Ignite, the incoming Women in Pharma Steering Committee will focus on three key priorities:
- Global alignment: Strengthening collaboration between Affiliates, Chapters, and the International Committee through quarterly global leadership meetings, shared playbooks, and cross-regional initiatives.
- Innovation: Leveraging digital tools, artificial intelligence, and storytelling platforms to elevate how we connect, mentor, and share best practices across borders.
- Impact: Expanding mentorship, leadership visibility, and technical engagement to ensure Women in Pharma representation across ISPE’s international conferences and publications.
This year’s vision calls each of us to be catalysts—igniting creativity, confidence, and connection across our networks. Whether by contributing to Phar-maceutical Engineering® or iSpeak, leading a local committee, or mentoring the next generation, every contribution fuels this shared momentum.
Looking Ahead
Women in Pharma continues to be a driving force behind ISPE’s mission to advance pharmaceutical science and professionals worldwide. As Chair, Mel-ody Scott shared during the October planning meeting, “We are not just the Women in Pharma Committee—we are women in progress, women in pos-sibility, and women in partnership.”
Here’s to a year of global collaboration, bold ideas, and measurable impact. Here’s to igniting 2026.
