Tell us about your role at ISPE: What do you do each day?
My job is to work with the incredible ISPE member volunteers on Guidance Documents for the ISPE Publications team. I partner with our internal teams and the ISPE members to manage the timelines that drive the content development, revision (technical editing), and publication of Guidance Documents and other related content.
What do you love about your job?
My favorite part of my job is the opportunity to work with incredible volunteers who are so knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are so passionate about pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, process improvement, and genuinely want to share their knowledge and expertise with the ISPE community. I admire them so much.
What do you like to do when you are not at work?
My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my husband and our three sons. I stay active physically and live a healthy lifestyle with my family. We recently did a “wellness day” together, which started with a brisk walk, continued into cold plunge and sauna routine, and ended with full-body massages. I was surprised to learn that I had lasted five minutes in the cold plunge during one of the cycles, as I got lost in my thoughts and meditation.
I absolutely love the beach. Clearwater Beach, Florida, is my happy place. I love to walk in the mornings when it’s still quiet, and to pray and give thanks for all the blessings in my life and the gift of nature. Watching the sunset every day is one of my goals when we are at the beach.
