Dr. Ralf M. Wagner is Vice President for Data Driven Manufacturing / Insights Hub in Siemens. In this present position, he is responsible for global development and operations as well strategy of the Siemens Xcelerator based Industrial IoT solutions.
Dr. Ralf M. Wagner began his career as application manager at Siemens in-house domain of IT. He continued his career working abroad in the US and Malaysia in IT related responsibilities. Upon his return he founded and incorporated a VC backed internet startup which led to his return to Siemens as a Senior Consultant with Siemens Management Consulting, followed by various positions in the executive team of Industrial Division in the Siemens Corporation as well as its affiliated companies. ”Industrial IoT enables smart manufacturing to increase effectiveness and efficiency of machinery, equipment and processes by means of data analytics & AI thus being an essential contribution towards digital transformation“ says Wagner.
