Radhi Majmudar, PE, MBA, M.ASCE is a structural engineer and founding principal of Innovative Structural and Specialty Engineering (ISSE), with offices in New York, California, and Lisbon. With over 35 years of experience, she brings deep expertise in designing, analyzing, adapting reusing complex building structures. Early in her career, Radhi contributed to the structural design of CIBA-Geigy facilities, gaining exposure to the technical demands of pharmaceutical and chemical environments.
Her current work focuses on evaluating and transforming aging or underutilized buildings to meet modern performance criteria, including seismic resilience, wind loading, and sustainability goals. She frequently leads feasibility studies to assess compliance with updated building codes and supports interdisciplinary teams with structural strategies that enable innovation without compromising safety.
Radhi is an active ASCE Committee on Sustainability member and regularly presents on engineering innovation, resilient design, and AI-supported workflows. Her approach blends traditional engineering rigor with future-oriented thinking, drawing on global collaborations and interdisciplinary partnerships to advance the built environment.
