Kim Vukovinsky is Senior Director of Statistics at Pfizer supporting Pharmaceutical Sciences and Global Supply for both small and large molecule products. Kim is active in the application of statistics and statistical experimental design in Research, Development, and Manufacturing, with current interest in the development and implementation of statistical decision making within a Quality by Design framework. Kim has co-authored several publications on statistical considerations in QbD and on large sample size lot release for content uniformity. Kim is a member of and past-chair of the AAPS (formerly PhRMA) CMC Statistics Expert team, a member of the IQ Consortium, and a 30-year member of the American Statistical Association and the American Society for Quality. Prior to joining Pfizer in 1997, Kim spent more than a decade providing statistical support to military jet and rocket engine development, manufacturing, and testing at Pratt & Whitney. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and in Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and a Master of Science degree in Statistics from Iowa State University.
