Magali Barbaroux has over 25 years of experience in polymer science for healthcare applications. She started her career with research into silicone for drug delivery and migration of active substance through polymeric membrane. She joined Sartorius-Stedim in 2000 and contributed to the development of Bag products, and more specifically to the development of the new generation of low extractable film, optimized for bioprocessing applications. She now belongs to the Sartorius Corporate Research and manages the advanced Polymers related research programs, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability and opportunities brought by the New Plastic Economy in biotech process.
