A biotechnological engineer, Johanne Piriou has been working for 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry; a consultant in tech transfer projects from development to commercial manufacturing and start-up facilities as a specialist in process design and process validation. She currently supports projects in CMC activities; implements QbD approaches, control strategies and process validation-Lifecycle approach. Johanne is a Partner in AKTEHOM, a consulting company, guiding biotech and pharmaceutical companies to address scientific, technical, and regulatory challenges focusing on human and cultural aspects. Johanne contributes to ISPE subgroups in her field of expertise. She joined ISPE in 2005.
