Ian K. Dacey

Ian has over 39 years’ experience in the operation, design, commissioning and decommissioning of Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology facilities. His operational experience covers the growth of eucaryotic and procaryotic organisms up to BSL 3 in process facilities and laboratories and the recovery of a wide range of products from bulk pharmaceuticals to targets and reagents. His process and facility design experience includes designs up to BSL 3 for a range of pharmaceutical and government clients across the globe at all scales from labs to 60 m3. He has also designed cell therapy facilities and is acting as a process and design consultant to a number of clients. He has authored technical papers / presentations, is a member of the European Bio safety Association, sits on the ISPE UK Southern Region Committee and runs the PM Group Cell Therapy Technology Initiative.
