Gregory J. Bujewski

Mr. Gregory Bujewski, PE is a Principal Mechanical Engineer for Gilead Sciences, Inc. and is a previous Chair for the ISPE HVAC/Sustainable Facilities Community of Practice (CoP) Steering Committee. He has 25 years of design engineering and project execution experience with the last 15 years with biopharmaceutical leaders beginning with Genentech as the Lead Mechanical Engineer for the 2007 ISPE Facility of the Year. He assumed Principal Mechanical Engineering roles with Amgen, Novartis and most recently Gilead Sciences, Inc. with responsibility ranging from cGMP operations to GMP Warehousing, Quality Laboratory, and Biologics Production infrastructure. His strengths include cleanroom design and operations, contamination control, personnel exposure control, clean utilities, commissioning, validation and project execution. He believes that engineering plays an important role in a company’s ability to bring the highest quality therapeutics to patients. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
