Eda Ross Montgomery, PhD

Eda Ross Montgomery, Ph. D. is currently Senior Director, Technical Steward, Global Pharmaceutical Technology, Shire Pharmaceuticals. She was previously President and Founder, Harmony Consultants, LLC, and Senior Director, Quality: CMC and QbD at Vertex, where she was responsible for the implementation of Quality by Design for commercial manufacturing at Vertex, including development of a strategy for CMC filings, implementation at manufacturing sites, and continuous improvement of Vertex’ commercial products. Eda has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where she has led CMC teams for all Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control activities and Analytical Development activities for 4 NDA filings and has headed Analytical Development, Lifecycle Management, and Commercial Support departments.
