Derek T. Mullins, CEng MIMechE

Derek Mullins is a Senior Manager with Amgen’s corporate engineering group. He leads Amgen’s cross site networks which focus on sustainability & energy management, utilities operation & maintenance, and critical systems. Within this role he provides leadership on achieving sustainable operation of utility systems whilst maintaining quality performance.
In addition to his experience at Amgen, Derek has gained over 10 years in the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on utilities & energy management, with a primary focus on biotechnology. Prior to this he spent over 15 years in the electronics and power generation industries in utilities and maintenance roles.
He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, educated at Dublin Institute of Technology, a Certified Energy Manager, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
